Habitat for Humanity Palm Beach County has achieved another milestone and brought smiles to the faces of Kenrick Wright Family. The Habitat for Humanity Groundbreaking Ceremony for The Wright Family will see that the Kenrick Wright Family – a hard-working, proud father of two young children, aged 7 and 10 years old, receive a brand new affordable quality home.

 

This dream of the Wright family has been made possible with the support from a financial grant by the BallenIsles Charities Foundation. This organization, formed by residents, has come together with a mission to bring a change to their community and support various projects including the Habitat for Humanity Palm Beach County organization. Following the latest BallenIsles Charities Foundation fundraiser, the organization has raised awarded a record $575,000 in 46 financial grants to 45 local nonprofits and civic organizations during its 2018 Grants Awards Ceremony at BallenIsles Country Club on March 12. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded cumulative grants totaling more than $2.3 million.

The gloomy weather could not cast a shadow over the Habitat for Humanity Groundbreaking Ceremony for The Wright Family. The joyous spirit of optimism and goodwill during the ceremony. BICF President Mark Freeman commented:

Following the latest BallenIsles Charities Foundation fundraiser, the organization has raised awarded a record $575,000 in 46 financial grants to 45 local nonprofits and civic organizations during its 2018 Grants Awards Ceremony at BallenIsles Country Club on March 12.

Habitat for Humanity Palm Beach County has been granting comfortable homes to deserving recipients for many years now. The goodwill done by them is setting a landmark for the other organizations. On completion of the home for Wright family, located in West Palm Beach, will bring the total to 228 homes constructed by the non-profit organization and given to deserving families. This non-profit organization is dedicated to the elimination of substandard housing by building decent, affordable houses for working families who also volunteer on the construction.

Habitat for Humanity Chief Development Officer Amy Brand thanked the BallenIsles Charities Foundation for its generous Financial Grant. “We are grateful to the BallenIsles Charities Foundation and its singular support that made the project possible,” she said.
