Born in 1986 to parents Paul Dawson and Serena Fresson, Alice Naylor-Leyland (née Dawson) spent her childhood and went to school in London. Her mother, originally from Australia, raised her as a single mother. As a teenager, Alice attended boarding school near Ascot. Following this, her mother married a hotelier where the young family then moved into 11 Cadogen Gardens Hotel, owned by her new step-father.

Alice Naylor-Leyland owns and runs a very successful blog called Mrs Alice. The British socialite is also a contributing editor at both Harper’s Bazaar and American Vogue.
