I recently took a trip travelling along the Riviera and thought that I would share with you my top 4 musts whilst visiting the French Riviera. But with so many things to do and so many beautiful places, it’s quite hard to pick the best. Throughout, the sea is deep blue and the sandy beaches are perfection. It is no surprise that this is one of the world’s most loved hotspots. So, after careful consideration, here are my four top spots to stop and enjoy whilst visiting.
The Fairmont hotel overlooks the Monaco Grand Prix track and is such an amazing hotel to stay whilst in Monaco.
Enjoy the beautiful views from their restaurant Horizon, which looks out to the boats in the sea. We sat for the market place lunch which was £45 where you pick fresh meat for the chef to cook in front of you. You then pick from a choice of salads and puddings – alternatively, there are many tasty treats available on the main menu. The staff here are amazing and so attentive. Plus, the music and atmosphere make it amazing for an afternoon out – definitely, a must-visit!
Watch the magic happen right before your eyes when you book a tour at the home of Whispering Angel.
The vineyard is just beautiful. If you are visiting in September, you will be able to see the grapes being prepared for harvest. Finish your visit off with with a tasting of all wines produced by Chateau d’esclans including The Palm, Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Chateau d’esclans and Les Garrus.
We loved the grounds and learnt a lot about the history of the wine. A great story to take back home with you.
Feel like James Bond in this luxury hotel, with views of Cannes Beachfront.
The hotel is in the perfect location, right on the Boulevard de la Croisette. With its own beach club, you can enjoy the water or visit the restaurants after a busy day in the city.
Bronze yourself in Nikki Beach, enjoying every luxury you could need whilst tanning. Great music, wine and food whilst you relax with friends by the pool. A must-attend whilst visiting St Tropez.
