Dolce & Gabbana is known for styles inspired by bohemian culture and Italian film history. The brand’s design trademarks include black-and-white colouring, bold prints, pinstripes and underwear-as-outerwear. The overall goal of Dolce & Gabbana is to design and produce flattering articles of clothing, not to set or chase trends.
In recent years, the brand has started working with sustainability experts to find more eco-friendly ways to manage textile waste, utilize recycled material in fashion design and develop sustainable faux fur options.

Critics and scholars can use them to follow trends, cultural shifts and design innovation. General audiences can learn more about the history of fashion, how it’s evolved over time and how it and culture influence each other.
