Going to Vegas is always going to be a great holiday! They say Vegas is a Disneyland for adults and that couldn’t be more true. Of course, you have the casinos that you can visit and play poker, roulette, craps and Blackjack, but then you have the other things that you can enjoy, such as rooftop cocktail bars, award-winning restaurants, tourist attractions and more.

You can prepare for Vegas in many ways. First, you can enjoy a variety of online slots so that you know how to play when you are at the physical machines. Then you have your transfers, of which arriving by limo is exceptionally fun. Booking a lounge at the airport is also advised and staying in a luxury hotel, of which there are many.

Below we look into three ways to prepare for your trip to Vegas.

Booking Your Transfer

When you arrive in Vegas, you will need to find a way to your hotel. The main hotels in Vegas are a short drive away, meaning getting a premium transfer to your hotel is a must as it’s more affordable than other destinations. We recommend getting a limo, but you could book a luxury car or if you want to save some money, then getting an Uber is very affordable.

The sooner you book your transfer, the cheaper they tend to be but you can get last-minute deals if you are lucky.

Booking Your Excursions

Vegas is no different to other destinations when it comes to excursions. There are so many different things you can do in Vegas, from venturing out to the Grand Canyon to doing an open bus tour of the main strip (we would recommend this as it helps you get your bearings).

The sooner you book your excursions, the more likely it is you will get a space as some get booked out quickly, especially the shows. Plus, like booking your transfer, the sooner you book, the better the price.

Booking Your Accommodation

You’ll be spoiled for choices when it comes to accommodation options. There are a myriad of five-star hotels that you can stay in as well as more affordable three and four-star ones. Our advice is to read the reviews of the hotels and to stay in the main strip, as you will then be within all the action.

The Cosmopolitan is a good hotel to stay as well as Caesars Palace (although this is more expensive). If you combine your flights with a hotel booking, this can sometimes save you some money.

Going to Vegas is a trip of a lifetime and one you will remember forever. It goes without saying, make sure you have travel insurance as you should never go away without having it.

Where in Vegas are you planning to stay and what do you like to play most in the casinos? Which of the above tips did you find most useful? Is there anything in our guide that you think we are missing? Let us know in the comment box below, we look forward to hearing from you.
