The redesign pays meticulous attention to architectural integrity. Original features, such as the Victorian-era “porte cochère” (carriage porch), have been preserved and enhanced. Meanwhile, modern additions like a 24-person private cinema and a gaming room inject a fresh vibrancy into the estate. The result is a harmonious balance between historical reverence and forward-thinking luxury, ensuring Mar Hall remains a beacon of Scottish hospitality for generations.

Featuring a bespoke crystal chandelier and a custom banquet table, this space accommodates up to 20 guests for curated tasting menus. Meanwhile, the al fresco reading room and fire-pit area in the gardens provide unconventional settings for twilight drinks or casual suppers beneath the stars.

A highlight for Mar Hall’s loyal patrons, the redesigned Members’ Lounge channels the cosy grandeur of a manor house library. Bold navy walls contrast with warm walnut shelving, displaying a curated selection of books and Scottish artefacts.
