Alongside locations like London and Paris, many of the planet’s richest and most famous people decide to settle down in the United States of America. For people looking to do something similar and have celebrity neighbors to invite round for dinner, some locations across the country are clearly popular.

Whether you’re after a luxurious apartment or a huge mansion, the options tend to be extensive in these highly desirable towns and cities. Alongside being populated by high-earning individuals and instantly recognizable faces, some areas are also known to be warm and welcoming environments, with local events to attend and community organizations to get behind. Additionally, you’ll have stunning restaurants on your doorstep, plus homes that offer privacy if you prefer to lead a quiet life.

With all that in mind, below we take a brief look at some of the most exclusive places to live in the United States of America.

New York City, Manhattan

For many people who want to live in a vibrant city location, New York ticks a lot of boxes. While you could live right in the hustle and bustle of the city center, alternative options in Manhattan like Fifth Avenue and SoHo appeal to many people looking to buy in the Big Apple.

It isn’t cheap, though, but you certainly get what you pay for in terms of high-end offerings and famous faces living next door. From luxurious apartments to stunning townhouses, the options are extensive in this highly desirable part of town.

Aspen, Colorado

If you’ve always viewed Colorado as a state you’d consider moving to, then there aren’t many locations that rival Aspen. Not only can you enjoy outdoor activities like skiing, but there are an array of top restaurants to try, stunning views to take in, and a friendly local community to be a part of. In terms of potential purchases to make for you and your family, Aspen is filled with beautiful homes to view. Historic Victorian properties are a preference for some, while you could even opt to snap up a cozy mountain chalet and live amongst the stars.

Malibu, California

California is a dream place to live for many aspiring homeowners. There certainly isn’t a shortage of options for prospective house buyers to mull over either. Malibu not only caters to outdoor enthusiasts with its 21 miles of pristine beaches and unrivaled surfing but also offers celebrity residents and top-notch restaurants.

As for potential havens, you can view private oceanfront properties, consider a blend of architectural styles, and explore an array of friendly neighborhoods. Also known for Spanish influences and even smaller beach-based bungalows to consider, Malibu is a stunning place to settle down.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Speak to many NFL fans in Fort Lauderdale who listen to the likes of Ross Tucker’s analysis and bet player props, and they’ll tell you the area is home to some past and present NFL heroes. A location that is also home to movie makers and more, Fort Lauderdale is a peaceful place that offers warm weather, waterfront properties, and hidden islands. Alongside other popular Florida spots like Newport Coast, Fort Lauderdale is a wonderful place to live.

Other Options

While we’ve focused on a select few locations here, the options don’t end there. For example, many house hunters struggle to look past Greenwich in Connecticut due to its privacy, while Naples in Florida offers golf courses, waterfront homes, and more. Additionally, Newport Beach in California is another destination worth considering due to its five-star homes.
