The taste, experience, and arguably most importantly, the aroma of chocolate has gained a mythical reputation since its existence. Many have claimed that the sweet-treat even has medicinal advantages and of course, its most famous claim, an aphrodisiac. Much like wine-lovers, those who indulge in chocolate will tell you that chocolate is a multi-sensory experience. The aroma can be as, if not more, intoxicating as its taste. Enters Antonio Corce Perfumes.
Italy’s finest were invited to spend an evening to get to know something rather unique. Hosted at the legendary womenswear brand Antonio Croce flagship store in Milan, the fashion retailer introduced guests to their innovative presentation of their perfume range.
“…an unparalleled union between tradition and innovation.”

Using the Antonio Corce Spring/Summer 2018 collection as a backdrop, the Antonio Corce perfumes were introduced in conjunction with some of the finest cholates available. The ‘collection of perfumes’ consists of seven distinctive scents. Although each fragrance’s bottle is similar in design, the colour thereof is a reflexion of its notes. Each fragrance was paired with a selection of bespoke chocolate, hand-made, by the famous chocolatier Rivoire.

In conjunction with the tenth edition of Esxence, the fair/event dedicated to international artistic perfumery, the multi-sensory event saw a unique pairing between the designer brand’s perfume and the confectionary genius. Staged over two floors of the Antonio Corce flagship store, each of the seven Antonio Corce perfumes were staged and paired with its bespoke praline.

The bespoke chocolates were designed to reflect the taste interpretation of the scent. Highlighting the fact that Antonio Croce perfumes are manufactured with purely natural ingredients. Each delicately-crafted praline contained some of the perfume, showing that the perfume can also be used in edible products.
