Encouraging People to Eat More Nourishing, Plant-Powered Food

Atis has seen great success since opening its flagship store in October 2019. The company has been on a mission to encourage people to eat more nourishing, plant-powered food, making customers feel good with every bowl they serve.

Customers can choose from a variety of fresh and cooked ingredients to create their own salads and warm bowls, which encourages them to be creative in their choices. Atis prides itself on being a vibrant, upbeat brand that is focused on making its customers feel great with every meal.

Design Elements of the New Location

Atis’s new space has been designed by East London-based design company Daytrip Studio. The interiors of the space draw inspiration from the local vernacular, with glazed bricks being used as the cladding of the service line, creating a focal point within the space.

The perforated steel structure will be softened with a playful application of vibrant yellow, which will contrast with the industrial, poured concrete floor. Natural warmth will come from the addition of Ash timber joinery for seating and perforated lantern lighting.

The venue’s palette will remain calm and neutral, allowing colourful ingredients to pop throughout the space, keeping wellness and healthy eating at the heart of the Atis experience.

Menu Offerings

The menu at the new Atis location is packed full of flavour and seasonal offerings. The new Spring menu will include highlights such as the ‘Green Goddess,’ featuring baby spinach, romaine, chopped broccoli, and pickled fennel.

Atis also recommends trying this salad with their new Preserved Lemon & Olive Chicken or new Rooted Spices Shichimi Togarashi Salmon. The Spicy Raw Thai, a long-standing summer favourite of Atis loyalists, has also found its way back onto the menu, with a variety of ingredients like baby spinach, shredded kale + cabbage, edamame + pea medley, shredded carrot, cucumber, spring onion + coriander, crispy shallots + cashew satay dressing.

Customers can also order Atis favourites such as the Azteca, Keep It Lean, and the phenomenally addictive Blackened Chicken. The site will also have a collection of crave-able sides and power pots for an extra something, including ‘Best Spuddies’ roasted potatoes, Atis aioli, crispy shallots and ‘Broc ‘N’ Roll’ double roasted broccoli, dill yoghurt and smoked almonds.

Partnering with Like-Minded Businesses

Atis partners with like-minded people and businesses that share their passions and ethos, including Too Good To Go to help reduce food waste, First Mile to help with their zero-to-landfill mission, and Impact Trading for their fair-trade cotton uniforms.

Atis prides itself on serving considered food that is good for the body, soul, and planet as well as being full of flavour. Each bowl brings exactly what is needed in a meal with well-rounded and high-quality ingredients. All their food is prepped and cooked in their kitchens on-site daily.

The Future of Atis

Co-founder, Eleanor Warder, expressed her excitement for the new location, stating, “We are really proud to be opening our fifth site in London Bridge: Borough Yards is a very exciting development and we’re looking forward to being part of the community there. The market has of course long been a cultural destination of London’s South, with many top-quality restaurant and retail outlets, so we feel very honoured to be sitting alongside these names. It will be our first site south of the river, so we are very pleased to be bringing our Atis bowls and experience to the London Bridge area and beyond! It is looking like an exciting year for us, with another opening planned for later in 2023.”

Lily Lin, UK managing director at MARK, commented on Atis’s new location, saying, “We are excited to welcome Atis to the Borough Yards lineup, where our strategy of attracting a diverse mix of food and beverage, retail, and leisure occupiers is proving resilient. Ensuring a blend of flagship and boutique brands will be instrumental to the continued success of this new district, which is fast becoming a landmark South London destination.”

Atis’s new location in London Bridge is set to open in mid-May 2023, with further plans to expand again later in the year. The restaurant will be located at Atis Borough Yards, 13 Dirty Lane, London, SE1 9PA, and will be open Monday – Thursday 11 am-9 pm and Friday – Saturday 11 am-3 pm.

Delivery will also be available via Deliveroo, with hours that match store hours and will be available from the opening day.

In conclusion, Atis’s new location in London Bridge is an exciting addition to the Borough Yards development and will offer a vibrant, healthy, and flavour-packed menu to its customers.

The restaurant’s mission to encourage people to eat more nourishing, plant-powered food, and its commitment to sustainability and partnering with like-minded businesses make it a great choice for those looking for healthy and mindful eating options.

With more expansion plans in the works, Atis is definitely a brand to watch out for in the London food scene.
