When you think of luxurious motor vehicles, Bentley is a name that will instantly spring to mind. The mere mention of the word conjures up images of pristine interiors, luxurious leather, immaculate paint jobs, and super-charged engines that sound out of this world.

While Bentley has been responsible for numerous successful vehicles over the years, there’s one in particular that the rich and famous just can’t get enough of. The vehicle in question is the Bentley Continental.

Recently, Bentley announced a new Continental GT convertible that promises to be like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The new Continental GT convertible Bavarian edition, and here’s what you need to know about it.

Designed by Bentley’s director of design, Stefan Sielaff, the Continental GT convertible Bavarian edition was overseen by Mulliner and celebrates the natural beauty that Bavaria has to offer. Mulliner is Bentley’s go-to personalisation specialists. They’re called upon to create breath-taking and immaculate Bentleys designed purely to each client’s unique specifications.

Back in 1959, Mulliner officially became a part of the Bentley family and set up shop in Crewe. The rest, as they say, is history.

A one of a kind GT

The Bentley GT Continental is one of the most iconic cars ever created. Turn it into a convertible and you have a superbly magical creation that has to be seen to be truly appreciated. This Bavarian edition, however, is really is one of a kind and is being hailed by many as the world’s most luxurious Grand Tourer to date. Hand-built in Mulliner’s workshop in Crewe, and presented in Munich by Bentley for an exclusive event, the GT Continental convertible hosts a whole variety of different features and is 100% limited edition.

The exterior is a dazzling Glacier White with an Imperial Blue roof which reflects the Bavarian flag pattern beautifully. The chrome-finished front fender is adorned with this very same flag. The interior is just as stunning, with the seat headrests adorned with the Bavarian flag, complete with white and blue embroidery. To top this look off, there is Glacier White Mulliner painted dual veneer, complete with an Imperial Blue hide.

No details have been left out, and it is the small touches that make the biggest difference. A great example of this is the Bentley Bavaria Edition treadplate inlay, which works incredibly well. The car is a joy to behold. Keep your eyes peeled for this one because it really is something special.
