Gloria German Cosmetic Awards 2019

The sixth annual Gloria German Cosmetic Awards saw the best in the beauty industry awarded in five categories.

Recently the best in the German beauty industry were represented and honoured at the annual Gloria German Cosmetic Awards. Hosted at the Hilton Hotel in Dusseldorf, guests gathered to celebrate the year’s top achievers.

Hosted and organised by KOSMETIK international Verlag, the event aims to acknowledge the best in the field through presenting awards in 5 categories. The presenters for this year’s awards included Katja Flint, Birgit Schrowange, Bettina Zimmermann and Kai Wiesinger. Another presenter, who proved to be a crowd favourite, was Tennis legend Boris Becker who travelled with his son all the way from London in order to attend the event.

The winners for the evening included Schmidt Cosmetics from Amberg, Franziska Wonde Schriesheim, LCN Beauty Center in Hanover. Christoph Wendt and Michael Gebhardt. The lifetime achievement award, presented by Boris Becker, was awarded to Dagmar Engelhardt Gruber, from the Institute “Cosmetic am Goldbachpark” from Nuremberg.

Commenting on the evening Christian Schikora, Managing Director of KOSMETIK international Verlag commented: “I am pleased that it is the skin care service providers who are at Gloria – Deutscher Cosmetics Awards as they are at the centre of our industry and we are glad to be able to honour them for their outstanding professional and entrepreneurial achievements. Another crowd favourite amongst the 600 guests in attendance was Pippi Longstocking actress Inger Nilsson. Other notable guests included Alexandra Polzin, Elias Becker, Elena Carriere, Hana Nitsche, Alexander Mazza, Angelina Kirsch, Frank Spothelfer, Felix von Jascheroff, Jenny Elvers, Eva Lutz, Birgit Lechtermann, Ceryl Shepard, Alexa Maria Surholt, Maren Gilzer, Cheryl Shepard, Dominik Brundner, Richard Heinze, Anna Hiltrop and Ulrike Frank.
