The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice has unveiled an exquisite collection of 24 new suites.

Designed by renowned Italian designer Biagio Forino, these suites draw inspiration from the mesmerising Venetian lagoon, incorporating a soothing colour palette and luxurious details that pay homage to the hotel’s rich history and stunning location.

A Venice Icon Reborn

On the peaceful island of Giudecca, the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice is a symbol of Venice’s industrial past and present luxury.

Once a bustling flour mill, this historic building has been masterfully transformed into a five-star hotel that seamlessly blends its storied past with modern sophistication.

With the addition of these 24 new suites, the total number of suites is now 45, offering guests an incredible choice of luxury rooms.

This expansion comes at an opportune time, coinciding with the 60th edition of the world-famous Venice Biennale, making the hotel an ideal base for art enthusiasts and culture seekers.

Massimiliano Perversi, General Manager at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, expressed his enthusiasm for the new additions: “I am delighted to launch 24 new suites for Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, in collaboration with the celebrated designer Biagio Forino. The historic hotel building, with its prime position overlooking the waters of the lagoon and Giudecca Canal, is truly one of the icons of Venice’s skyline and it was only fitting that the new designs should reflect this storied history and stunning setting. Every detail in the design pays homage to this, resulting in a guest experience that is every bit as spectacular as the view from our new suites.”

A Suite for Every Traveller

The new suite offerings are thoughtfully categorised to cater to a diverse range of guests:

  1. Four new King Molino Family Suites
  2. Nine new King Molino Executive Suites
  3. Eleven new King Molino Executive Suites with a view of Venice

These additions complement the existing suite inventory, which includes:

  1. Four King Molino Junior Suites
  2. Five King Molino Tower Suites
  3. One Presidential Suite
  4. Eleven King Molino Family Suites

Each suite features a spacious main bedroom and a separate living area, with some offering interconnecting options to accommodate families and groups of friends.

Thirty-two of the total suites also include a comfortable dining area, perfect for intimate in-room dining experiences or casual gatherings.

Design Inspired by the Venetian Lagoon

Biagio Forino, the mastermind behind the new suite designs, has crafted interiors that are both visually stunning and deeply rooted in Venetian aesthetics. The colour scheme is dominated by calming creams and teals, mirroring the hues of Venice’s iconic lagoon.

This palette creates a sophisticated and tranquil retreat, offering guests a serene escape from the bustling city.

Forino’s design philosophy for this project was heavily influenced by the hotel’s unique location and Venice’s rich history.

He explains, “For this project, I was inspired by the location of the hotel on the water, as well as by the thousand-year history of the city of Venice, which simultaneously looks to the future as the home of the Biennale. This dichotomy of old versus new is reflected in the design, with exposed wooden beams referencing the building’s history as a former flour mill while the bright colours of the Indian wool rugs and soft furnishings evoke thoughts of a handful of confetti, symbolising the many surprises and celebrations to be had in this city.”

The suites have exposed wooden beams and brushed oak floors, warmth and a nod to the industrial past.

These elements are juxtaposed with luxurious details such as black lacquer tables by Chica and crystal chandeliers by Fortuny, creating a perfect balance between heritage and contemporary luxury.

Bespoke ‘Toile de Venice’ Venetian fabric, crafted by the renowned textile house Rubelli, adorns the wall screens, adding a touch of local craftsmanship.

The dreamlike teal-coloured wallpaper in the connecting rooms, created by Inkiostro Bianco, further enhances the aquatic theme.

Rubelli fabrics are used throughout the suites on sofas, armchairs, curtains and cushions. Chairs, benches, headboards and bed structures are upholstered in eco-leather by Casamance, luxury with a conscience.

The furniture, expertly crafted by bespoke makers Status Contract, includes innovative carbon fibre bedside tables, desks, and sideboards. These modern pieces stand in elegant contrast to the historical elements of the suites.

Artistic touches abound, with paintings by Grecale featuring gold accents reminiscent of those found in St. Mark’s Basilica.

Table and floor lamps by Italamp incorporate Venetian Murano glass, further celebrating the city’s rich artistic heritage.

A Culinary Renaissance

The unveiling of the new suites coincides with exciting developments in the hotel’s culinary offerings. In April, the beloved Aromi restaurant reopened for the season, presenting a brand new menu crafted by Executive Chef Ivan Fargnoli.

Aromi enjoys a peaceful canalside location within the hotel grounds, complete with a summer terrace that offers spectacular city views.

This intimate and elegant restaurant now boasts a range of sumptuous signature dishes that promise to delight even the most discerning palates.

Chef Fargnoli’s new menu draws inspiration from seasonal produce and authentic Venetian cuisine, while also incorporating elements from his extensive international experience.

The result is an alluring blend of the finest Italian ingredients and oriental spices, inviting diners to embark on an unparalleled gastronomic journey.

Each dish on the menu is a chef’s tale unfolding on the plate, harmonised with carefully curated wine pairings. This culinary experience perfectly complements the luxurious ambience of the new suites, offering guests a complete sensory immersion in Venetian excellence.

A Legacy of Luxury

The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice has been a luxury landmark in the city for years. These new suites solidify its position as the top Venetian hotel.

The hotel’s Presidential Suite, also designed by Biagio Forino in 2019, remains the highest and largest suite in all of Venice.

This iconic accommodation offers private access to the hotel’s rooftop, which hosts a pool and the Skyline Bar – the highest bar in Venice, boasting incredible panoramic views of the city and staffed by expert mixologists.

With a total of 379 rooms and suites, one of the largest spas in Venice, an award-winning conference centre, and a diverse collection of bars and restaurants, the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice continues to set the standard for luxury accommodations in the city.

Booking and Availability

The new suites are now available for booking, with starting prices from €850 on a bed and breakfast basis. For those seeking a more modest yet still luxurious stay, nightly rates at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice begin at €240 per night based on double occupancy with breakfast included. The original Molino Suites start from €590 per night.

As Venice prepares to welcome visitors for the 60th Biennale and the busy summer season, these new suites offer an enticing option for travellers seeking the ultimate in Venetian luxury.

With their thoughtful design, stunning views, and the hotel’s comprehensive amenities, guests are assured of a truly memorable stay in one of the world’s most enchanting cities.

The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice’s latest enhancements demonstrate the hotel’s commitment to continual improvement and its dedication to providing guests with an unparalleled Venetian experience.

As the city evolves and adapts to the changing demands of modern travellers, this historic property stands as a shining example of how to honour the past while embracing the future of luxury hospitality.
