In British luxury, few partnerships match the pedigree of Holland & Holland, London’s premier gunmaker since 1835, joining forces with Overfinch, the authority on bespoke Range Rover customization. Their Holland & Holland Edition by Overfinch arrives as something extraordinary: twenty-five vehicles worldwide, each inspired by Holland & Holland’s flagship ‘Royal’ Side by Side shotgun.

This isn’t hyperbole. It’s precision craftsmanship meeting automotive excellence.

Two Icons, One Vision

The timing couldn’t be more fitting. Holland & Holland celebrates 190 years of gunmaking mastery while Overfinch brings five decades of Range Rover expertise to this collaboration. What emerges transcends typical automotive partnerships.

Kevin Sloane, Chairman and CEO of Overfinch, described the project: “There is a rare synergy when two icons unite. The Holland & Holland Edition is more than a vehicle; it is a true statement of craftsmanship, quality and distinction. Together, we have created a Range Rover that embodies British excellence in every sense. There is nothing else quite like it. The Holland & Holland Edition is the culmination of countless hours of meticulous craftsmanship and British workmanship at its finest, a creation that reflects the passion, precision and artistry of those who built it.”

Michael Ray-Jones, Head of Marketing at Holland & Holland, emphasized the significance: “It is most apt that we should mark our 190th year with the introduction of this magnificent new edition. Perfectly realised by the talented craftspeople of Overfinch, and further adorned by Holland & Holland’s own master artisans, this edition is a truly distinguished homage to our flagship ‘Royal’ Side by Side shotgun. We are delighted that our deepened alliance with Overfinch continues on this collaborative journey of artistry, craftsmanship and a mutual dedication to excellence.”

British Racing Green Authority

The exterior speaks first. British Racing Green paintwork achieves that perfect depth and lustre that makes lesser finishes look amateur. Holland & Holland’s insignia integrates into a machined dual-finish grille where intricate louvres create immediate impact without shouting.

Twenty-three-inch multi-spoke forged alloy wheels feature self-levelling centre caps finished with the H&H hallmark. But the real artistry lives in the solid aluminium side vent details. Here you’ll find engravings of Holland & Holland’s distinctive ‘Royal’ scroll surrounding hand-crafted ingots bearing each brand’s emblem.

These aren’t decorative afterthoughts. They’re functional elements transformed into art through British engraving traditions that date back centuries.

The rear features a full-width illuminated light bar incorporating the Overfinch blade emblem. Every component works in harmony rather than competing for attention.

Interior Mastery

Step inside and you enter a different realm entirely. The ‘Royal’ scroll unfurls across high-touch stainless steel elements while open pore French walnut veneers provide organic beauty and tactile richness. This is gunmaking heritage translated into automotive luxury.

Front and rear centre consoles each serve distinct purposes. The front confirms exclusivity with engraving stating ‘Limited Edition: One of Twenty-Five’. The rear houses a champagne cooler and crystal flutes because some occasions demand proper celebration, much like the exclusivity found in London’s most prestigious properties.

The walnut veneer-covered steering wheel and machined gear selector topped with hand-finished wooden grip ensure every interaction feels special. These details matter when you’re creating something truly exceptional.

Door Casings as Art

The door casings might be the most beautiful interior elements in any modern automobile. Walnut inserts feature hand-engraved forend diamonds directly inspired by Holland & Holland shotgun stocks. Stainless-steel plaques showcase ‘Royal’ scroll work, creating visual narratives connecting vehicle to gunmaking heritage.

Quilted Bridge of Weir leather with contrast micro piping lines monogrammed seats adorned with Holland & Holland enamel badging. Intricately embroidered sporting scenes transform functional seating into galleries of British sporting tradition.

The overall effect rewards close inspection while maintaining refined elegance. No ostentation, just quiet mastery.

Companion Chests: Mobile Entertainment Perfected

For clients seeking ultimate luxury, two Companion Chests transform the rear compartment into a mobile entertainment suite worthy of the finest country estates. These aren’t accessories, they’re masterpieces.

The upper chest features dual-drawer configuration. Left-hand drawer offers secure champagne storage while twin right drawers house extensive Holland & Holland accessories. Fine-cut crystal flutes, staghorn corkscrew, silver bottle stoppers, fine crockery, H&H monogrammed napkins, and complete cutlery sets for eight people.

Everything you need for proper celebration, wherever you are.

The lower chest secures two shotguns below a figured walnut insert complete with Holland & Holland plaque. The rear compartment accommodates eight whisky tumblers and two decanters positioned beside sizeable pewter hip flasks presented as shotgun cartridges. Witty nod to sporting heritage.

Design Philosophy and Personal Expression

Overfinch Lead Designer Greg Shilton explained the approach: “The Holland & Holland Edition embodies the summit of bespoke British luxury. We have worked to create a car that not only displays extraordinary craftsmanship but also radiates a sense of heritage and grace. Through the selection of materials, the harmony of colour and the endless scope for personalisation, it delivers a truly singular experience, where every detail speaks to artistry and excellence.”

Three exclusive interior colourways offer distinct personalities. Full London Tan with Harris Green micro piping and stitching. Harris Green and London Tan front-to-rear contrast split with Harris Green accents. Or Harris Green and London Tan throughout for understated sophistication.

Each vehicle is hand-finished to order. No two examples will be identical, reflecting the same bespoke luxury design trends shaping exclusive interiors worldwide.

Expert Recognition

Michael van der Sande, luxury car specialist and former Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations Managing Director, consulted on this project in his role as special advisor to Overfinch.

“It’s an honour to be a part of the team that brings together the Overfinch and Holland & Holland brands , and to help create this extraordinary conversion of the latest Range Rover,” van der Sande noted. “I’ve admired the Holland & Holland specials through the years, and this new edition by Overfinch has all the hallmarks to elevate the vehicle’s luxury and tactility to a level not seen before.”

Coming from someone with van der Sande’s experience, that’s significant validation.

Built on Excellence

The Range Rover SV platform provides engineering excellence and capability. Overfinch and Holland & Holland enhancements add layers of luxury that elevate the experience to new heights. Performance meets artistry without compromise.

Holland & Holland’s journey from 1835 founding to current status within the Beretta Holding Group demonstrates enduring appeal of exceptional quality. Overfinch’s five-decade Range Rover history established the company as the ultimate expression of these vehicles.

Their international network spans the UK, North America, Europe, the Nordics, and Middle East. Global appreciation for British automotive excellence.

Redefining Luxury

While luxury often means excess, the Holland & Holland Edition takes a different path. Here luxury means precision, heritage, and attention to detail that only comes from craftspeople who truly understand their materials and traditions.

Twenty-five examples worldwide. Each represents automotive history in the making, deserving a place among the world’s most exclusive luxury items featured in elite collections.

For discerning collectors and shooting enthusiasts, this offers more than transportation. It provides entry into an exclusive world where British craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation converge. When true masters of their crafts unite in pursuit of perfection, something genuinely special emerges.

The Holland & Holland Edition by Overfinch: rare, remarkable, and defining new standards of luxury for the most discerning clientele.
