Jack Barclay Bentley Reopens With Contemporary New Design

Areas such as Mayfair can lay claim to housing some of the oldest institutions in the United Kingdom. Jack Barclay Bentley, part of the H.R. Owen motor retailing group is one of these. This institution is the largest and oldest Bentley dealership in the world. The dealership, that was founded in 1927, was acquired by the H.R. Owen motor retailing group in September 2000. H.R. Owen is the world’s largest retailer in BentleyRolls-Royce, Bugatti brands and Lamborghini.

 

After a comprehensive refurbishment, the Mayfairian icon – Jack Barclay Bentley – has officially reopened its doors to the public. The complete revamp has resulted in a thoroughly modern luxury space whilst staying true to the brand’s historic tradition and elements. The result of blending these two contradictory design elements has resulted in in an extraordinary amalgamation of styles that is as unique as the brand it houses. Bentley prizes itself in utilizing the latest technology, state of the art design and modern comfort with tradition and history.

In keeping with the surrounds that the area has to offer, such as galleries and design studios, the newly-renovated showroom boasts a light and modern feel throughout the building. Although the iconic showroom has undergone many changes with the redesign, many iconic and historic features have been kept in tact. Some of these – many of the  showroom’s original design features, such as the basement’s iconic iconic art-deco signage, the wood paneling as well as the checkered flooring have all been retained. All of these original elements blend harmoniously with the modern, sleek and elegant redesign design.

Some of the new additions to Jack Barclay Bentley is the elegant new central bar. The new addition is trimmed in luxurious Bentley leather and acts as a focal point to the entire floor. To top off the new design a commissioning suite has been built and will provide both inspiration as well as to offer greater privacy to the dealership’s clientele.
