Thanks to the new Rennesaince in R&B, some truly unique and exceptional artists have emerged. Performers such as H.E.R, Daniel Caesar, Lucky Daye, Puma Blue, Eryka Badu and Leah Jenea have started to bring artistry back to this genre. True vocalists, these artists have a smooth way of delivering deep, complex and real songs that cut way beyond the surface. One of these game-changers is the talented young vocalist JVCK JAMES.
Earlier today JVCK JAMES released a new live video acoustic version of Fall Free making up the first of his new Vibeout Soundcheck series. The performance takes place on a stripped set with just the artist and his band. This minimalist production just once again proves that JVCK JAMES is a talented young vocalist that needs no gimmick or distractions to make you take note. It’s about the music and the message alone. Nothing less, nothing more.
His soulful lyrics and velvet deliverance has ensured a solid fan base that is growing exponentially around the globe. But his popularity isn’t just rising with the general public. He has been capturing the attention of some serious artists such as Grammy winner Ella Mai as well as Brits Critics Choice winner Mahalia. So much so that she has invited JVCK JAMES to the US where he will join Mahalia on her fledgeling North American headline tour starting in Detroit on September 22nd and ending in Boston on October 23rd.
This young artist is of one the genre’s biggest rising stars and is most certainly a must-see. With new music expected soon, we and many others are excited to see what JVCK JAMES has for us in the future.
