In an official announcement made by Buckingham Palace it was confirmed that His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima will pay a state visit to the United Kingdom. The announcement of the Netherlands State visit to the UK was made following the invitation issued by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The State Visit to the United Kingdom has been scheduled to take place from 23 to 24 October 2018. It has been confirmed by the Palace that the King and Queen of the Netherlands will stay at Buckingham Palace during their visit. Her Majesty Queen Elzabeth has hosted two previous State Visits from the Netherlands during her reign.
