A selection of Marilyn Monroe’s costumes will be on display at The May Fair Bar in London ahead of their sale at Julien’s Auctions.

It seems that October has brought with it, Marilyn Monroe fever once again. That is if it ever truly died down. The landmark sale where Christie’s is offering two limited edition photographs of Marilyn Monroe, as well as the Hasselblad camera used for the iconic 1961 photoshoot by Douglas Kirkland, is not the only Monroe collectable sale this month.

The May Fair Hotel will be the temporary home of four of the most iconic Marilyn Monroe’s costumes before heading back to the states where they will go on sale.

The dresses on display are from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, There’s No Business Like Show Business, River of No Return and Some Like It Hot and will be sold live on 1st November at Julien’s Auctions at The Standard Oil Building in Beverly Hills.

To celebrate the presence of these incredible gowns, The May Fair Bar has created The Marilyn Monroe Collection cocktail menu. Each of which are original drinks created by the May Fair Bar’s award-winning team and have been inspired by the costumes on display.
