Milan | Italy
This season’s jam-packed schedule at Milan Fashion Week Men’s shows saw several exhibitions, installations and pop-ups in between the runway shows. One of these was the launch of the new Santoni Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
Founded in 1975, Santoni shoes have been synonymous with Italian style and has become a benchmark for hand-crafted artistry. Born with the founding of the haut de gamme shoes laboratory, the brand’s essence, imagined by its founder Andrea Santoni, has seen his son Giuseppe carry this into the 21st century without compromising the brand. The new Santoni Spring/Summer 2019 collection sees rich and exotic leathers and suedes bring to life a vintage-inspired look that conjures up images of men’s clubs and dinner societies. The colour palettes include rich and muted tones borrowing from the Edwardian palette of browns, black and rich greens. The design sees a leisure inspired feel that is stylish yet effortless.
