Set to take place on Saturday, 20 October 2018, the Caulfield Cup Carnival 2018 is a race that is watched internationally and is seen as important to attend as it is to follow.

 

Although the race held at Caulfield Racecourse is a ‘big deal in the racing circles’ it is also one of Australia’s premier social events each year. The Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Day has a proud and rich history of being an important race for 141 years now. Since its inception many legendary champions have won its cup including the likes of Might and Power, Elvstroem, Northerly, Let’s Elope and Tulloch.

The Group 1 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival 2018 also boasts the title of being the world’s richest turf handicap over 2 400 meters at $5 million. The race is set to attract a large number of international attendees to see who will win the iconic 9-carat gold trophy alone worth $155 000.00.

As the race is seen as a major international fixture it was only apt that the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival 2018 was launched internationally. Hosted by the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) the launch saw a select group of VIPs gather on the sands of the Paradise Cove beach and the iconic Malibu pier.

With the main event taking place at Nobu Malibu, the guests were gathered to celebrate the official launch of the Caulfield Cup Carnival 2018 ticketing. With good drinks, entertainment and company the event sent the tone for the races to come. The racing day promises to have an abundance or bars, and gourmet eats as well as a great selection of marquees and bespoke hospitality offerings available. Highlights of these include The Local, the Moet & Chandon Lawn and the VIP Heath Enclosure to only name a few.
