A small group of successful, like-minded women were invited to celebrate the new brand direction ‘Only for Women’ by Sussan.

With women and their struggle being on the social consciousness of late, having a celebration of their success is a great reminder of what we are fighting for. It proves once more that we are not fighting for hand-outs, special treatment or an easier environment than for men. In fact, it shows our strength. That despite the unnecessary obstacles, barriers and stereotypes, women have been able to reach the same level as success as men.

The intimate dinner was hosted at the Entrecôte restaurant overlooking the Melbourne Botanic Gardens in the Grand Old Dame that once housed the institutional Lynch’s Restaurant for over 30 years. Other than launching the new brand direction by Sussan, the event celebrated successful, likeminded women.

The event saw Lisa Messenger host with panellists Abbey Gelmi (TV Sports Presenter), Elle Halliwell (Health Coach & Author) and Kirsten Pilatti (CEO of Breast Cancer Network Australia).

The new brand direction underlines that Sussan is being led by, designed by and made for women. It is a brand that is passionate about encouraging conversation around women as well as supporting them.

Guests included key female leaders in the industry including Bianca Chatifeld, Emma Davenport, Dr Chantel Thornton, Artist Meredith Gaston, Alice Zaslavsky, Anna Byrne, Emma Maidment and Yasmin Darwish.
