The fourth day of Shanghai Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2018 was jam-packed with 11 shows scheduled for the day. Shanghai Fashion Week is one of the few major international fashion weeks that has a truly eclectic offering. Designers, collections as well as their inspirations are multi-cultural and diverse. One of the highlights of the day included the presentation of The Atelier Couture’s Autumn Winter 2018 collection.
Acknowledged as one of the finest ateliers in China, The Atelier Couture has gained continuous growth in both the local and international markets and has become renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship since their inception in 1986. This season’s collection sees an array of light and fresh pantones. Major colours includes crisp whites, light blues, sea foam greens and soft pinks. The collection is uber feminine while remaining undeniably chic and bold. Each look has a dazzling amount of detail, layering with intricate cord and beading work. One of the main trends throughout the collection is metallic-shimmer. This has been achieved through the utilization of metallic beads, metallic cording as well as shimmering fabrics.
