I had a brilliant stay at Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
The staff is friendly welcoming and extremely professional. The Covid protocols are second to none. The lake views from the rooms are lovely, especially in the morning sun. Food and drink were excellent wherever you ate on site – and although expensive – it was well worth it for us. The room was both luxurious, spacious, and well-appointed, carefully decorated, and have everything you need and more, although it would have been great to have tea / coffee-making facilities as well. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast buffet which offered a huge selection.
I ate at all the different restaurants and bars which were all equally brilliant and cozy.
The live music was fantastic, the reception staff superb, main bar staff on the terrace especially deserving of mention. The Lake itself is a sight to behold and we really enjoyed our half-day at Bellagio which is literally across the water from the hotel.
