As we all know by now, retro is back and perhaps bigger now then it was back then. Different era influences have shaped most of the designers collections lately with the 70’s and 90’s taking centre stage. The Gucci Pre-Fall 2018 collection is an ode to the 90’s with the iconic retro-sport trend forming a major part of it. The launch of the new Gucci Rhyton Sneakers underlined this even further.
The new Cucci sneaker is boldly crafted with a thick rubber sole and bulky construction. Measuring at 4″ high, the new Gucci Rhyton Sneakers have been constructed from black leather and feature the Cucci logo predominantly on the side. The Italian luxury brand chose the instantly recognizable and nostalgic SEGA font for the logo. The font conjures up images of early 90’s and late 80’s gaming arcades and coin-op game rooms.
