The Maldives-based resort, LUX* South Ari Atoll, hosted the historic moment when South African conservation couple, Beth Neale and Miles Cloutier, broke the Guinness World Record for the longest underwater kiss on Valentine’s Day 2023.

The newly set record of 4 minutes and 6 seconds beat the previous record of 3 minutes 24 seconds and 34 frames set in Italy in 2010.
