The custom-built 50-metre hybrid superyacht ANJELIF has made its spectacular debut at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.
This extraordinary vessel, now available for charter through Fraser, represents a remarkable fusion of sustainable technology and opulent design.
Revolutionary Hybrid Technology Meets Luxury
The ANJELIF showcases Columbus Yachts’ mastery in hybrid propulsion technology, building upon their pioneering work with the Sport Hybrid 40m projects. This innovative vessel holds the prestigious RINA classification with the “Hybrid Propulsion Y” notation, setting new standards in the industry.
The yacht’s sophisticated hybrid system, developed in collaboration with Siemens and certified by RINA Classification Society, operates in three distinct modes. The conventional diesel mode utilises twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, whilst the electric mode enables silent cruising at 8 knots, perfect for serene night-time navigation.
The shaft generator mode optimises energy efficiency by allowing the main engines to power the electric motors, enabling the onboard generators to be switched off entirely.
Environmental Innovation and Sustainability
ANJELIF’s commitment to environmental stewardship is evidenced by its Green Certificate for Hybrid Propulsion, acknowledging its achievement in maximum emission reduction at sea.
The vessel’s impressive specifications include a range of 3,200 nautical miles at 12 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots, all whilst maintaining optimal efficiency.
Perhaps most notably, the yacht incorporates two groundbreaking sanitation systems: a cold plasma device for purifying incoming air and an automated environmental sanitation system. These innovations, developed with Owner Project Engineer Giuseppe Sole, ensure unprecedented levels of air quality and safety throughout the vessel.
Luxurious Design and Accommodation
The yacht’s interior design, personally overseen by owner Maria Francesca Angelini, seamlessly blends sophistication with comfort. The main deck features a revolutionary lounge area with an electronically adjustable Armani-upholstered sofa system, whilst the owner’s suite includes a private massage room, Technogym-equipped fitness centre, and a fixed balcony offering panoramic views.
Below deck, four meticulously designed guest suites accommodate up to eleven guests, each featuring large rectangular windows and ensuite bathrooms adorned with precious stone finishes.
The innovative 2-in-1 bed system in two of the suites provides flexible sleeping arrangements, whilst the remaining suites can be configured either as a single large VIP space or as separate areas.
Entertainment and Leisure Facilities
The yacht’s recreational amenities are equally impressive. The beach club area includes a sophisticated transformer platform and fold-down starboard platform, complemented by a scenic main deck swimming pool with counter-current and heating systems.
The upper deck houses an elegant dining room featuring a custom-made oval table with precious oyster shell top, convertible into a games room.
The sun deck provides the ultimate relaxation space with adjustable sun loungers, a custom eight-seater teak table, and a large jacuzzi surrounded by expansive sun pads. For evening entertainment, the bow area can be transformed into an open-air cinema, though the helicopter touch-and-go platform is not available during charter operations.
Crew and Service
ANJELIF accommodates 11 crew members across seven suites, ensuring impeccable service throughout the charter experience. The professional galley on the main deck connects to all levels via a dumbwaiter lift, facilitating seamless service across the vessel’s multiple entertainment areas.
The bridge combines cutting-edge technology with elegant design, featuring leather upholstery throughout and adjacent to a refined captain’s suite and service pantry, ensuring efficient operation and guest comfort.
