Kate Moss, Mabel, and Ed Speleers joined stars at Annabel’s Amazon Gala, raising over £2 million for rainforest conservation in Brazil.

The night raised more than £2 million in support of vital conservation work in Brazil, continuing the momentum of one of London’s most ambitious charity initiatives.

The gala, “Annabel’s for the Amazon,” was staged in partnership with The Caring Family Foundation, the philanthropic organisation founded by Richard and Patricia Caring.

Once again, the Mayfair venue drew together a striking mix of celebrities, philanthropists, and art collectors who came not just for the glamour but to play a part in safeguarding one of the world’s most important ecosystems.

Ronan Keating’s Surprise Performance

Guests were treated to an unexpected highlight when Ronan Keating stepped onto the stage for an acoustic performance. He sang two of his best-known hits, “When You Say Nothing At All” and “Rollercoaster,” both of which had the audience on their feet.

“I am proud to be performing at Annabel’s for this year’s Amazon Gala, in support of The Caring Family Foundation, who are raising vital funds to create lasting change for the Amazon rainforest, one of the most important ecosystems on our planet,” Keating said.

The entertainment continued with comedian Rory Bremner, who co-hosted alongside celebrated auctioneer Simon de Pury. Together, they guided the audience through a live auction filled with high-value lots and unique experiences that drove bidding to impressive levels.

Familiar Faces and Fierce Bidding

On the guest list were Kate Moss, singer-songwriter Mabel, DJ and presenter Zara Martin, actor Ed Speleers, contemporary artist Marc Quinn, and model-activist Adot Gak. Their presence underscored Annabel’s reputation for attracting a cross-section of fashion, music, film, and art to its events.

The auction items matched the calibre of the crowd. Experiences such as an evening at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala and a private dinner with Kate Moss commanded significant attention, while collectors went head-to-head for original pieces by Marc Quinn, David Hockney, and Daniel Arsham.

A Growing Legacy

The Caring Family Foundation has emerged as the largest private donor to the Amazon, and its efforts are already visible on the ground. Since its launch, the Foundation has planted more than 3.4 million trees and seedlings in Brazil and provided support for over 39,000 Indigenous peoples through reforestation and community programmes.

With Friday’s results added, the wider campaign has now raised £5.2 million. The Foundation has set its sights on an ambitious milestone of planting 4.8 million trees by the end of 2026.

Healthcare Innovation in the Amazon

Beyond reforestation, the Foundation has also invested in healthcare initiatives.

Earlier this year, it introduced a solar-powered Medical Bus programme, designed to deliver specialist healthcare to Indigenous communities in remote areas of the rainforest.

Next year, the programme will expand to nine communities, reaching around 38,000 people across more than a million hectares.

Cincoro Tequila Collaboration

The September campaign also featured a creative collaboration with Cincoro Tequila. Throughout the month, Annabel’s offered Amazon-themed cocktails crafted with the brand’s premium tequila, with proceeds supporting the Foundation’s work.

Cincoro was launched in 2019 by five NBA figures, including Michael Jordan and Jeanie Buss, each of whom brought a shared passion for tequila and a vision for redefining the category.

Broader Impact

The Caring Family Foundation does not limit its work to the Amazon. Operating in both the UK and Brazil, it supports programmes that ensure children have access to nutritious meals and women can live free from violence, alongside its environmental projects. Since 2019, it has distributed more than 3.5 million meals and delivered over 30,000 domestic abuse services.

The gala, hosted by Richard and Patricia Caring, was the culmination of a month-long series of events and immersive experiences centred on the Foundation’s core pillars of conservation and social welfare.

The evening at Annabel’s proved not only a glamorous night out but also a significant step forward in funding projects that deliver tangible results for communities and ecosystems alike.
