This year the iconic Haute Jeweller Mikimoto celebrates their 125th anniversary. This date celebrates when the founder Kokichi Mikimoto succeeded in the cultivation of pearls for which the House would become renowned for. In celebration thereof as well as in conjunction with Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall/Winter, Mikimoto launched Mikimoto Jeux de Rubans Collection, a new 1 collection at their Paris store.
The Mikimoto Jeux de Rubans Collection is an ode to classical Haute Jewellery with the incorporation of the timeless ribbon motif. The new collection leans heavily on classical design with a touch of luxurious whimsy. The designs utilize the natural texture, shine and effect that only pearls can give and have created truly magic statement pieces that are bold yet subtle and exceptionally feminine. The bold designs ensure that the pieces become as much part of the outfit as it is an accessory.
