Expansion in Thailand
Centara has inked a significant Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with Phi Phi Paradise Company Limited for its Villa 360 property.
Scheduled to reopen as Centara Villas Phi Phi Island in October 2024, this resort will offer guests an array of luxurious amenities, including 40 villas of various sizes, an all-day dining restaurant, a sunset sky bar, outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, spa, fitness centre, and an onsite mini shop.
Another notable addition is the Tiva Ao Makham Resort Phuket, a greenfield project under a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with Kornsiri Hospitality Management Limited Partnership.
This health-focused resort, slated to launch at the end of 2023, will redefine wellness travel with facilities such as yoga, cycling, Pilates reformer studio, sauna, steam room, and onsen, along with 68 rooms along Phuket’s southeastern coast.
Venturing into Vietnam
Centara’s expansion into Vietnam includes the introduction of two outstanding properties in Vung Tau City, a sought-after destination along the southern coast.
The Centara Life Vung Tau, expected to open in Q1 of 2027, will offer 261 keys, ensuring flexible stays with daily delights such as all-day dining options, modern meeting rooms, swimming pools, fitness centre, spa, and kids club. Additionally, Centara Residence Dio Dua will feature 536 rooms, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, and a dedicated kids club.
In northern Vietnam, the Crystal Holidays Harbor Van Don will unveil its second tower in Q2 2025, enhancing the appeal of Van Don as a premier tourist destination. Tower B, part of a larger plan to develop a 5-star international standard resort and entertainment complex, will offer 496 rooms, dining options, a fitness centre, and swimming pools, complementing the existing Centara-branded Tower A.
