Bentley Motors, known for crafting some of the world’s most luxurious cars, has once again outdone itself by producing a limited series of bespoke cabin cushions fit for a king and queen.
To commemorate the coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Bentley’s skilled craftsmen and women worked tirelessly to create these unique and regal accessories for a fleet of Bentleys.
Craftsmanship and Technology in Perfect Harmony
Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe served as the backdrop for the creation of these cushions, which combined traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.

The team used advanced digitisation techniques to capture the special Coronation Emblem before creating each bespoke cushion by hand. Three full days and four iterations of embroidery processing were necessary to meet Bentley’s exacting standards, with each emblem requiring nearly 30,000 stitches for optimal refinement.
Distinctive Design and Unmatched Quality
The emblem itself is made up of two thread colours, with three different colourways used to contrast the individually selected hides. These hides, sourced from Northern Europe, are checked and marked by hand and eye before being precisely cut.
Each cushion takes over three hours to produce and uses only the finest hides, resulting in a finished product that rivals the quality of Bentley’s esteemed cars.
Ella Mitchell, the Trim Developer, has been instrumental in leading the craftsmanship process, which has resulted in these bespoke cushions for this unique occasion. While the cushions will remain with Bentley’s press cars for now, they are not available for purchase.
Colours and Contrasts
The colour of the leather is one of the most striking features of any Bentley, and the cushion colour combinations have been customised to the individual specifications of two Bentayga EWBs, two Bentayga Hybrids, and one other highly bespoke Bentley in time for this weekend’s coronation celebrations.

The cushions come in Cricketball, Cumbrian Green, Imperial Blue and Saddle, utilising 1.4mm thick leather with accent piping of Beluga, Porpoise, Newmarket Tan and Imperial Blue respectively.
The emblems have been sewn in Black, White, Red and Blue thread, providing a beautiful contrast against the leather. The size and shape of the cushions have been modelled from the cushions of the 1958 S1 Continental Flying Spur, a cherished part of Bentley’s Heritage Collection.
In Conclusion
Bentley’s Coronation Cushions represent a true masterpiece of British craftsmanship and a testament to the automaker’s attention to detail and dedication to quality.
These bespoke cushions embody the spirit of luxury and regality that are hallmarks of the Bentley brand, and it is no surprise that they were chosen to celebrate such a momentous occasion.
As the world continues to celebrate the coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Bentley’s Coronation Cushions serve as a fitting reminder of the timeless elegance and sophistication that define British style.
