About The Ivy West Street

The Ivy West Street has been serving up British classics to regular guests since 1917. It also has royal connections, with the late Queen Elizabeth II dining at the restaurant in 2017.

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio refurbished the restaurant, bar, and private room to create a spacious entrance, a central dining bar that has become the focal point of the restaurant, and a vastly superior cloakroom.

Ivy classics still feature, but the menu has been updated to cater to people’s changing taste, including a more prominent Asian section, prolific salads and vegetables, and a section for fish and shellfish lovers.

Location and Opening Times

The Ivy West Street is located at 1-5 West Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9NQ. The restaurant is open from midday to 11 pm, Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 11 pm on Saturday, and from 11:30 am to 10:30 pm on Sunday. Reservations are not always required for the central dining bar.

About Nyetimber and Beefeater

Nyetimber is the pioneer of English Sparkling Wine and is made exclusively from three celebrated grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. It is regarded as England’s finest Sparkling Wine and is made from one hundred percent estate-grown grapes.

Beefeater is the world’s most awarded gin brand, created by James Burrough in the 19th century and distilled in the heart of London.

Beefeater’s Master Distiller, Desmond Payne, has over 50 years of experience in the gin industry and has been with Beefeater since 1995. Payne ensures that the traditional Beefeater gin recipe is followed meticulously to create the signature juniper-led, citrusy flavour that gin lovers around the world have come to know and love.

The Ivy West Street’s collaboration with Beefeater Gin for the King Charles III Coronation celebration is the perfect example of how the restaurant incorporates the best of British produce and heritage into its menu and drinks offerings.
