ENERGY redefines luxury yachting with bespoke design, exceptional comfort, and long-range performance for the discerning owner.

Every so often, a superyacht that combines breathtaking design, remarkable engineering, and true luxury is on the horizon. One such yacht is ENERGY.

This 78-meter (255-foot) masterpiece, which was launched in 2022 by the Dutch shipyard Amels, is destined to become a modern classic.

This amazing vessel raises the bar for what a superyacht can be with its extremely well-thought-out design and superb attention to detail throughout.

A Realised Vision

ENERGY was never intended to be typical. To create something custom and genuinely unique, the owner collaborated closely with Amels and a group of some of the best designers in the business. The exterior of the yacht was designed by Norwegian designer Espen Øino, and the interior was designed by French designer François Zuretti.

The end result is a sleek and hospitable yacht with areas intended to promote both lavish entertaining and peaceful times of introspection. A yacht that achieves this balance with such ease is uncommon.

Outside: Roomy and Chic

The impact of Espen Øino is evident as soon as you see ENERGY. The yacht has sleek, contemporary lines that are never clinical or frigid. The top deck, which doubles as a helipad and a chic lounge and entertainment area with a fully stocked bar and enough space for guests to enjoy a cocktail while admiring the endless views, is a show-stopper.

Aft is a jacuzzi with sun pads surrounding it, ideal for relaxing under the stars or the sun. Private balconies are available on the side decks, which is a considerate addition for times when you want some privacy away from the main crowds.

Interior Design: Subtle Luxuriance

The interior design by François Zuretti exudes a sense of easy elegance. The owner’s suite takes up the entire upper deck, which is uncommon for yachts of this size. Natural light and outdoor access were key considerations in the design of the bathroom, dressing room, salon and forward and aft terraces. The foredeck is a great place to relax because it opens onto a private terrace with a marble fire pit, a jacuzzi, and lots of seating.

The yacht’s other features are equally well-planned. The Steinway baby grand piano in the music lounge is a true focal point that enhances the social areas. Guests can enjoy a drink without leaving the room thanks to the adjacent marble bar.

Areas Created for Recreation and Living

The amenities on the main deck are equally impressive. In addition to a boardroom-style office for people who need to catch up on work, there is a martial arts room, which is a unique feature in this market and a nod to contemporary wellness trends. Up to 18 people can be seated in the formal dining area, so extravagant dinner parties are easily accessible.

With two suites that open onto private balconies, VIP guests also have plenty of space. A resort-like ambience is created below with four additional guest suites, a beauty parlour, and a beach club featuring a gym, spa, sauna, and hammam. These areas are directly connected to the ocean by fold-out sea terraces, which create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Effectiveness and Reliability

ENERGY is not a slouch beneath the surface. It can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots and cruises at a comfortable 13.5 knots thanks to its twin MTU engines. It is designed for lengthy journeys, whether traversing distant coastlines or oceans, and has a 5,000 nautical mile range.

The aluminium superstructure and steel hull satisfy Lloyd’s classification requirements, guaranteeing both luxury and longevity.

Comfort for Everybody on Board

ENERGY provides plenty of privacy and space, with seven staterooms that can accommodate up to 14 guests.

The crew quarters, which house 27 crew members who offer discrete and attentive service, are equally spacious.

Any yacht hoping to provide a flawless luxury experience must strike a balance between the comfort of its guests and the assistance of its professional crew.

An Uncommon Offering in the Current Market

With a price tag of €199 million, ENERGY presents an exceptional value in the current superyacht market. Given its size, design heritage, and abundance of features, it is reasonably priced at about €69,000 per gross tonne for a late-model, high-volume Amels yacht.

In conclusion, energy is more than just a boat. It’s a declaration of comfort, style, and innovative design. It serves homeowners who wish to take advantage of everything the sea has to offer without sacrificing comfort or style, whether that means entertaining large gatherings, spending quality time with their families, or exploring uncharted territory.
