On the 5th day at Ukrainian Fashion Week, the Katerina Rutman SS19 show took place in the main hall and saw an endless number of angelic-like, almost floating, looks float down the runway. The collection sees sheer, light and flowing textiles evoke an ethereal feel that, while emphasizing the female form, is all about movement. This ‘theme’ of the collection was further affirmed by the clean-faced makeup and halo head-wear. Whites, peach, greens and various hues of reds form the base on which the Katerina Rutman SS19 collection is built.
Launched in 2016, the demi-couture brand has established itself as a major role-player in the Ukrainian fashion industry. Head-up by designer Katerina Rutman, the label is as much about the feeling that the clothing evokes in the wearer and viewer as it is in its design. Having graduated from Istituto Marangoni, Katerina Rutman continues to grow in popularity.
