Automobili Lamborghini celebrates its 60th anniversary with an exceptional exhibition during this year’s Milan Design Week that is focused on design, colours, personalization, and art.

The event features a triple limited edition of 60 units each dedicated to Huracán STO, Tecnica and EVO Spyder. Alongside the new Huracáns, the brand also presented the all-new Lamborghini Revuelto, the company’s latest addition to its V12-powered cars.

The event, held at Segheria in Milan, unveiled the processes that Centro Stile, Lamborghini’s renowned design centre, and the Ad Personam department follow to create interior specifications and new colours for the personalisation requests of customers.

The exclusive event had two dedicated areas for guests, where the indoor space displayed the new Lamborghini Revuelto, along with a dedicated Ad Personam corner, two artworks, and an outdoor area celebrating the 60th anniversary of the brand.

Each anniversary model in the V10 range of the Huracán is limited to 60 units available in two different liveries that enhance both the spirit and the unique lines characterising Huracán STO, Huracán Tecnica and Huracán EVO Spyder.

Every car is adorned with a “1 of 60” carbon fibre plate and the logo “60th” painted on the doors and embroidered on the seats. The special editions, consisting of the three models in six different liveries, highlights Lamborghini’s commitment to fresh, on-trend Lamborghini colourways, with the process of creating new colours explained during the presentation.

The exhibition showcased iconic Lamborghini super sports cars, and each anniversary model in the V10 range is offered in two different versions that feature a combination of Alcantara in Nero Cosmus (black) and Grigio Octans (gray), details in Nero Ade and contrasting embroidery in Blu Amon (blue).

“Milan is one of the design capitals in the world, while Sant’Agata Bolognese is the epicentre of car design”, explained Mitja Borkert, the Head of Design of Automobili Lamborghini. “Ever since the launch of icons such as the Lamborghini Miura or Countach, colours have been a major asset of our brand. Together with our colleagues at Ad Personam, we often create new colours for our customers, further enhancing the already-extensive palette. Colours can change the attitude of a super sports car, making it look even sportier or more elegant. Ultimately, the colors our customers choose for their configurations, more often than not, are an expression of their personality.”

According to Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, “Super sports cars are all about two things: performance and design, and Milan Design Week is an ideal setting for us to showcase the latter. The Revuelto is the latest addition in a proud heritage of V12-powered automobiles coming out of Sant’Agata Bolognese, with many of them having become icons of automotive history. Alongside our new V12, the special editions of the Huracán not only celebrate the 60th anniversary of our brand but also give our customers maybe the last chance to purchase an otherwise sold-out V10-powered Lamborghini.”

The event took place at Segheria, an ‘Objet d’Art’ that was originally built in 1932 as a sawmill. It has been a venue for avant-garde, conceptual and unprecedented projects – by world-famous architects and designers – presented along with international premieres for 23 years. The guests were welcomed guests in two dedicated areas.
