Since taking over as Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing has created in Balmain a hybrid between streetwear and wearable-couture. The new Balmain Spring Summer 2019 Menswear Collection perfectly balances the line between future and retro, art and fashion and trendy and stylish.
With a clear Eastern influence, the Balmain Spring Summer 2019 Menswear Collection looks to traditional Eastern symbolism as well as motives depicting influences from contemporary Manga. The mixture between traditional French fashion staples such as black and white, horizontal striping, as well as french cuts and silhouettes with the Eastern influences create an ultra-urban chic look that can be dressed up and down. The Balmain Spring Summer 2019 Menswear Collection consists of brightly coloured and detailed jackets, with classic stripped back pieces, knitwear, leather, and tailoring.
