Read on to find out how you can make your bath smell amazing.
A bath is so much more than just a way to clean yourself. It is a way to relax, unwind, and reset yourself after a long, hard day. However, you need a few things to have the ultimate bath.
The main one you need is a great smell. Lavender, jasmine, ginger, cinnamon are all aromas that not only help you relax but can help heal your body and mind. Many bath products have these scents; here are some of the best.
Bath Bombs
Bath bombs are one of the most popular bath products out there. You can buy them in all shapes and sizes, each with its own smells, essential oils, and added extras such as oats for exfoliating or cinnamon bark for joint pain.
You can also make your own; many online recipes and YouTube tutorials can teach you to make your own with nothing more than a mold, your favorite essential oil, and some common household ingredients.
Bubble Bath

Bubble bath has always been viewed as one of the more luxurious bath products. They smell amazing, they make you feel like you are relaxing in a cloud, and some have some added oils that moisturize and soften your skin.
Once again, you can make your own as well. A bubble bath is nothing more than some liquid soap, water, and glycerin. The glycerin might be a bit tricky to get hold of, but it is worth the effort as it is the ingredient that moisturizes. Adding a few drops of lavender will calm your mind in a matter of seconds as well.
Bath Salts
Bath salts not only leave your bath and you smell good, but they also have rejuvenating and healing properties. Bath salts can assist with skin irritation, arthritis and muscle pain, and simple relaxation. Making your own bath salts is also quick and cheap. You can combine Epsom salts with Himalayan salt and a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
Peppermint is brilliant for relaxing, tea tree is perfect for skin irritation, and cinnamon is known to help with joint and muscle pain.

Flowers
While flowers may require time and effort to grow and maintain, their relaxation properties are well worth it. There is a reason why very fancy spas throw handfuls of flowers and petals into their hot tubs and baths; the smells they release are unmatched.
This is especially true for flowers such as roses and jasmine, both having very distinct smells that can transport you to one of the calmest and most relaxing places you can think of.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are one of the most common things to add to a bath to give it a great smell and help you relax, heal your mind or body, or improve your mood. Some of the most popular ones have been mentioned already.
Lavender has been shown to improve your mind and calm you; tea tree is brilliant for soothing skin irritation such as dry skin and athlete’s foot; cinnamon has been shown to help soothe muscle pain, as well as arthritic pain in your joints.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has risen in popularity due to its many uses and benefits. It can be used in cooking, used for face masks, applied to dry skin, and added to your bath to create a tropical smelling scent that moisturizes your entire body.
Coconut oil is also relatively inexpensive and is an excellent base for creating body scrubs. Adding sugar or used coffee grounds to it, along with the essential oil of choice, can make an amazing exfoliating scrub that will leave your skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth.

Scented Candles
While not something you can add directly to your bath, scented candles should be in everybody’s bathroom. They not only help keep your bathroom smelling fresh and looking pretty, but they are brilliant for relaxation when you’re bathing.
If you are the arts and crafts type, you can make your candles and give them your favorite smells; if not, going with the tried and tested favorites like lavender and mint is more than suitable. Candles are also perfect for those who just don’t like things such as bath salts, bath bombs, or the like.
