Zimmermann Spring Summer 2019 | New York Fashion Week

New York | United States

The 70’s influence has been popping up since Milan Fashion Week earlier this year with Spring Summer 2019 collections by labels such as DAKS and Missoni showcasing the decade’s influence in all its glory. The Zimmermann Spring Summer 2019 as showcased at New York Fashion Week too was a Boho 70’s feast!

Having been inspired by Australian TV show Number 96, designer Nicky Zimmermann gave us a 70’s visual buffet of freedom of expression, sexuality and style that embodied all that the era was about. The Zimmermann Spring Summer 2019 collection is a celebration of mustard and tan hues, whites and blues. The re-imagined psychedelic paisley prints, shift dresses and lantern sleeves are all well represented and make us yearn back to the days when road-trips to the beach were accompanied by music from the Stones, the Beetles and Hendrix. The groovy ’70s are back in full force and it’s far out! Can You Dig It?
